Wooden Stocking Ornament for the Christmas Tree
- Wooden stocking ornament
- Acrylic crafts paints: red and white
- 1/2-inch-wide artist's brush
- Patterned paper
- Crafts glue
- Krylon Crystal Clear Glaze
- Glue gun and hotmelt adhesive
- 1-inch-wide red satin ribbon
- Unscrew the screw eyes and jingle bells from the ornament. Paint the stocking bright red and the stocking cuff white; let dry.
- Trace the ornament shape onto patterned paper and cut it out. Brush a coat of crafts glue onto the stocking and adhere the paper cutout in place; let dry. Apply two or three coats of glaze to the entire stocking front, letting it dry between coats.
- Reattach the jingle bells. Cut a length of satin ribbon, form a loop, and hot-glue the loop ends in place on the stocking cuff. Cut another length of satin ribbon, tie in a bow, and hot-glue in place.

I love alot of the ideas here but with some there are no patterns-painting snow scene on balls, stocking and so on. Not everyone has the talent to paint free hand or to make and cut out a design. Patterns should be included with all ideas.
