Quilled Candy Cane Christmas Ornament for Kids
- 1/8-inch-wide red and white paper quilling strips at least 12 inches long, or paper cut to fit dimensions
- Crafts glue
- Toothpicks
- Scissors
- Hanging thread
- 3/8-inch-wide ribbon
- Cut lengths for paper strips.
- For the candy cane, shape 6-inch-long red and white quills into spirals by wrapping the paper around a toothpick. Glue the spirals together edge to edge, alternating the red and white.
- Tie a length of 3/8-inch-wide ribbon once, trim, and glue it on the candy cane as an accent. Attach the hanging thread.
Here's one for your older kids to make.
