Meet Evette Rios
Evette Rio's Puerto Rican roots, love of travel, and years apprenticing with some of NYC's finest architects and designers have both inspired and influenced her work. However, nothing sparked Evette's design interests more than watching her parents work on homes as a child.
Today, Evette is a crafts and design expert, as well as the face of BHG.com's 100 Days of Holidays, showing holiday recipes, crafts, and simple decorating ideas for your entire home.
In addition to being a contributor to the Rachael Ray Show, Evette has been a co-host and designer for Freestyle (HGTV), and TLC's home repair show In A Fix. Other appearances include the Today Show, the CW11 Morning Show, and upcoming D.I.Y segments in fluent Spanish for Despierta America.
Since June 2008, Evette has also brought her can-do attitude to Planet Green's flagship show, The G-Word. As a field correspondent, Evette (aka the Salvage Queen) finds ways to spare the environment while showing green art and sustainable solutions.
