Christmas Words Pillow

Decorate an easy-to-sew pillow with a festive iron-on graphic.

What You Need:

  • Transfer paper
  • 3/4 yard linen
  • Matching thread
  • Sewing needle
  • Sewing machine, if desired
  • Pillow form

How to Make It:

  1. Download the Christmas Words graphic panel and print onto iron-on transfer paper.
  2. Iron the graphic panel onto a square of linen that is 1/4 inch larger than the graphic on all sides for a seam allowance.
  3. Sew 2-3/4-inch-wide strips of linen to each side of the panel with a running stitch. With right sides together, use a running stitch to sew the pieced panel to a piece of linen that equals the measurements of your finished front panel, leaving an opening for a pillow form.
  4. Turn the pillow cover right side out, insert the form, and sew the opening closed with a whipstitch.
