Coaster Card Holder
Turn square coasters into creative gift-card holders that open like books. Cut decorative paper to 4x8-1/4 inches and adhere to two coaster squares. Allow space between coasters for book to fold. Cut inside paper to 4x4 inches and adhere to inside of coasters. Let dry. Decorate as desired. Add pocket to inside with a half-circle punched at top for gift card.

Pretty Pastel Card Holder
Send a gift card in this pretty pastel holder. Cut paper to 3x7 inches and fold in half. Using strong adhesive, adhere along side edges only. Punch slot through front and back of card. Cut ribbon to double the length of the card plus 3 inches. Thread ribbon through slots and tie. Place card between ribbon and push into card. When you pull the knotted ribbon up, the gift card will slide up, too.

To create this crisscross gift-card holder, cut double-sided paper to 3-1/2x12 inches. Score at 4 and 8 inches. Cut diagonals at outside edges and adhere carefully at bottom. Cut insert to 3-3/4x3-1/4 inches. Punch slits to hold gift card.

Pretty Purse Holder
To create a holder perfect for any purse lover, score a 12x-12 inch double-sided paper at 1 and 11 inches. Fold and adhere to "inside" paper. Turn and score at 3-1/2 and 8-1/2 inches; fold and adhere. Score at 5 inches to fold in half, leaving openings at ends for gift card and a special note. Score again at 4-3/4 and 5-1/4 inches to create gusset for card to stand. Use strong adhesive to hold top together to create two pockets. Punch holes at top to add ribbon handles.

To make this card bearing Christmas cheer, fold an A2 (invitation size) envelope in half. Cut inside flap at center crease. Moisten to close only the left flap. Decorate front as desired using colorful papers and a ribbon to tie card closed. See next slide for interior view.
