Everyday Gardeners

Plant. Grow. Live.

orangeblossomThe calendar may say that it’s still a couple of weeks until spring, but that’s not the case in my greenhouse. My orange tree is heavily laden with gloriously fragrant blossoms. On sunny days I open the sliding glass door from the greenhouse and let the tantalizing fragrance waft indoors.

For a frustrated gardener itching to get hands into the soil, this is a pleasant reminder that spring is not far away, even outdoors in a cold climate. And as a bonus, I may have some tasty oranges to harvest next winter!
