Garden gleanings from around the blogosphere and the rest of the web. The change from January to February seems to have motivated lots of gardeners around the country. And the world.

Even gardeners in the most southern reaches of the U.S. are struggling with cold conditions this year. But Ray Sher says in the Houston Chronicle that the struggle it still worth it.
Garden Debut is pulling together a group of plant breeders and growers to try to get new plants in front of the public. (That’s all of you.) They have a new website so you can see how they are doing.
We are getting excited about visiting public gardens this spring and summer. You’ll be hearing more from us about public gardens later this year, but for now go here and look around at what they have to offer.
