Happy Holidays everyone! I’m Nole from Oh So Beautiful Paper and I’m so excited to share some holiday party inspiration with a Copper Keurig Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar! I live in Washington, DC, and when the winter months roll around it starts getting dark here pretty early – like 4:30 p.m. early. To make up for the early sunsets, I gravitate towards metallic sparkle and shine. A copper holiday party with a festive hot chocolate bar is the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends!
Keurig makes it so easy to set everything up! All you need for this hot chocolate bar is a few beautiful mugs (preferably made of copper, of course), some festive drink stirrers, and fresh flowers to set the mood. I also made a beautiful minimalist party wreath by spray painting a wire wreath form with copper spray paint and adding a few handfuls of baby’s breath from the grocery store and some battery powered LED string lights for extra sparkle. We placed our hot chocolate K-Cup pods in a vintage copper compote for easy access and made the Keurig brewer front and center!
For some additional holiday cheer, add a tray of spirits to mix with the hot chocolate. I’m a big fan of adding a splash of bourbon to my hot chocolate. Or if spirits aren’t your thing, consider an assortment of treats and toppings, like marshmallows, mini candy canes, flavored syrups, and perhaps spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Display the additional ingredients in glass pour bottles or beautiful bowls in your party color palette!
Our color palette was copper and black with wood tones and other metallics mixed in. I really love the combination of the copper bottle brush trees with the silver tinsel drink stirrers. So much sparkle! We chose not to cover our wood side table, but a neutral linen table runner would be really lovely and add some subtle texture to all the sparkly metallics on the table.
I love that Keurig offers the ability to easily make single mugs of hot chocolate – and you can even customize the size for different size mugs! The 6 ounce brew size turned out to be the perfect amount of liquid for these vintage copper and ceramic mugs, and there was just enough room to add a bit of whipped cream on top! And the best part is that there’s no messy clean up from making a bit pot of hot chocolate – just pop in as many K-Cup pods as you need at any given time! Your guests will be warm and cozy with a mug of hot chocolate in hand!

Cheers to a festive holiday season and lots of hot chocolate during these cold winter months!
