Stirring Up Ideas In The Kitchen

Hey guys! It’s Gaby from What’s Gaby Cooking!

WGC is is a playful, fun, inspiring, sun-soaked destination for everyone who aspires to live the California Girl life. We are healthy, fit and adventurous, but we’re also real. We love a juice cleanse, but we also like the occasional grilled cheese. We’re big on finding balance, because whether you’re cooking, cocktailing or traveling, it all benefits from a creative, can-do mentality that teeters on the edge of planned and spontaneous, practical and a little bit crazy.

You’ve seen me around here before but I’m jazzed to be back today, sharing the ins and outs of our Stylemaker shoot!

A few months ago a handful of my absolute favorite women from the food blogging world gathered at a chic house in Pasadena to shoot this months food feature. It was an amazing day filled with fun hair, makeup, great food, good friends and a world-class photographer Con Poulos. To say it was epic would be a complete understatement. There were party scenes, food stories, plenty of cute instagram moments and a whole lot a laughter! Take a peek at some of the behind the scenes snaps!

I’m so thrilled that it’s finally on newsstands for everyone to see! You’ve absolutely got to check it out and make some of the recipes. I’m obsessed with all of them, particularly the ribs, corn fritters and the cocktails!! Yes please ☺

  1. great

  2. Love the green plates w tan trimmed edges! Really makes the food “pop” – What brand are they?

  3. I enjoyed the ‘ when Bloggers gather’ article and recipes. I too was wondering what the resource for the plates with the brown edge is. Would you be kind enough to share the information?
