I’m once again gearing you up for Easter with one of the creamiest no-bake cakes, that starts with this No-Bake Chocolate-Swirl Cheesecake. As usual, I couldn’t help but add my own little twist to it by incorporating some Nutella and then frosting it with a chocolate whipped cream.
You can skip the whipped cream frosting, but if you are serving this at an Easter picnic or if it is going to sit out for a bit, the whipped cream will help to keep the no-bake cheesecake cooler for a little longer. Along with that, if you decide to cover the cake with berries like the original recipe, I recommend adding that on prior to serving or keeping the cheesecake refrigerated. Of course that’s only if you pile on the berries (like I have in the past) it will cause the cheesecake to just slighlty buckle—not much, but if you are a perfectionist like me the cake won’t have perfectly straight sides.
To get started, here are a few notes:
- Grab the recipe here. Keep in mind, I skipped the graham cracker crust (only because I didn’t have any graham crackers on hand).
- If you decide to flip the chocolate-swirl to a Nutella Swirl like I did here, replace the chocolate with Nutella and then just drop it into the batter and swirl it with a fork.
- To finish the no-bake cheesecake like the picture (1) Start by grabbing the whipped cream recipe from here, then add in 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder. Finish with sprinkles and maraschino cherries.
- To make this your own, try replacing the chocolate ratio with Biscoff, peanut butter, caramel or dulce de leche.
