With the official start of summer here, we all look for ways to enjoy the fair weather. Today I’m sharing five of my favorite DIY projects that make summer just a little bit better in my world.
Picnicking is a classic way to enjoy the great outdoors and a patchwork picnic blanket like this one allows you to pull up a relaxing casual feast anywhere you are out and about.
As an alternative to a full blanket, stitch yourself a set of picnic placemats with utensil holders that rollup for easy transport in a basket or backpack.
Summer flowers are on display, and with moldable clay from a craft store, you can create your own petal vase for showcasing summer’s best blooms.
Using plastic containers and quick dry cement, craft a unique planter to showcase greenery indoors or out.
Erase the cares of the day and achieve instant relaxation with this therapeutic recipe for homemade lavender sea salt scrub!
What do-it-yourself projects are you planning this summer?
