Get the Look: Think Pink

TREND: Mixing different shades of the same color, in this case, pink.

Pastels always make a comeback for decorating in spring, but many embrace the delicate colors year-round. In the bedroom above, we have a neutral base with plenty of pink layered in, in several shades. The vivid tone of the curtains brings a lively energy to the room, and keeps it from feeling too light and floaty. To get a similar look in your own home, try the items below!

  1. You should suggest some similar fabric that is not nearly so expensive for the curtains. The one link I found that listed the price for that fabric was $100 a yard! By my calculations, it’d be about $600 for one window in my bedroom. Do people really do that? Spend $600 on curtains for each window? It seems unreal to me. Especially when you’re cheaping out with a west elm bed.
