get the look: white nurseries with graphic accents

TREND: White, clean nurseries with bright, graphic accents

Bright, clean rooms with crisp white walls seem to be a current favorite for creating cheery spaces.  Adding bright punches of color and geometric accents make for a very current, on-trend look.  I love this unfussy nursery designed by Morgan Satterfield, featuring the Animal Print Shop’s adorable Baby Elephant print.  Get a similar look with white walls, neutral furnishings and accents, and go for a fun pop of color or pattern with a crib sheet.  I love to keep crib bedding simple (it really makes the crib stand out, and I love being able to peek in on my sleeping baby through the slats!) and it’s a great way to save a little cost, plus you can invest in a few extra crib sheets to keep changing up the look as you please.  Note that you may have to get a crib skirt, as some cribs show too much of the hardware when the mattress is at its highest for newborns.  Serena and Lily and New Arrivals both have really pretty and clean crib skirts that won’t distract from the rest of the room.   Below are some great options for crib sheets (these would make great baby shower gifts, too!):crib sheetsSources, from top left: Dash’s nursery; (1) Rainbow Stripe Sheet; (2) Charcoal Plus; (3) Marine Queen; (4) Black Triangles; (5) Punch Kite; (6) Charcoal Clouds; (7) Wave Castle; (8) Mint Triangle; (9) Cobalt Moon; (10) Watercolor Ikat; (11) Charcoal Arrows; (12) Gold Polka Dots

Hope you enjoy! ~Joni, Lay Baby Lay
