Antique furniture, whether authentic or reproduced, can be beautiful. It can also be stuffy though, which is why the jolt of pink and green paired with the Louis XVI settee and tables above is so refreshing. Why not have a little fun with your furniture, right?

Whether it’s on the runway or in your home, animal print seems to be making an appearance everywhere. Needless to say, I’m in love. So much so that I recently purchased a pair of faux cowhide chairs for my dining room. Animal print has a versatility and classic styling that fit perfectly into almost any room. Plus, there is no need to make a big investment. A little goes a long way. Take the “Pin it” inspiration photo. The large-scale zebra print coffee table makes such a beautiful statement in an otherwise neutral and airy space. I love that!
Today I pulled together a few of my favorite animal-inspired accessories. Test the waters in your space with one of these pieces for a fun and exciting new look. Let me know in the comments what you think of animal print or how you’ve successfully used it in your home.
