Pin it. Get it! Vases

TREND: Unique Accessories

Have you noticed that unique accessories are popping up in all of your favorite stores? I have and I’m loving it! Be it a brass elephant or a vase with bold stripes, I want at least one of each! But today, I’m just focusing on unique vases. Adding one of these pieces to your space can take your home from boring to bold!

Whether it’s on a coffee table, mantel, or sideboard, I love creating tablescapes. Finding wonderful accessories to put together a beautiful, one-of-a-kind look is a passion of mine. These little decorating opportunities are a way to make a house feel like a home. They can also be a way to tell a story.

There are many rules of thumb when it comes to styling small horizontal spaces: add color, height, texture, pattern, glitz, a natural element, etc. The list goes on and on. My advice is to peruse your favorite magazines or websites and find a look that you love, then recreate it at home. Use what you have by pulling in various pieces from throughout your home. And if all else fails, add a beautiful vase of flowers. Not only does a floral arrangement provide a touch of nature, it can bring in color, height, texture, pattern, glitz, etc. It’s a stylist’s best secret.

I know what you are thinking: “There are so many vases out there to choose from. Where do I begin?” Well, you’re in luck! I’ve curated twelve gorgeous vases to give you some inspiration. I’m sure one of these pieces will make the perfect addition to your space!
