What is SMS or text messaging?
SMS or text messaging service will allow you to receive short messages on your phone as long as you are in a digital coverage area and have SMS service set up on your phone.

What do I need to get text messages?
A digital cell phone with at least one-way text messaging, sometimes called SMS.

How do I know if my phone/carrier supports text messaging?
Call your provider or visit their web site to see if you have it set up.

Is there a charge for SMS or text messaging?
We do not charge you to receive text messages. However, some carriers do charge a small fee to send or receive a text message. Please check with your carrier to find out what they charge, if anything.

What is the "Secret Code?"
We send a "Secret Code" to your phone after you enter your phone number. This is to test to make sure that you have text messaging. You must enter the "Secret Code" that you receive on your phone to complete your registration and activate our text messaging service.

Why do I have to enter the "Secret Code?"
To prevent someone else from signing you up for the service, we cannot activate the service until you enter the "Secret Code."
