Neither Sponsor nor Promoter assume any responsibility for illegible, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or stolen entries or mail, for entries they are unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or lost e-mail or mail entries. Sponsor and Promoter reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel contest if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor and Promoter reserve the right to award the prizes to eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the contest is prohibited. In the event of a dispute, entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. 2. Open to legal U. S. residents who are 18 years of age or older, except employees of Sponsor, Promoter, their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household. Winners will be selected on or about June 15, 2004 and notified by mail on or about July 1, 2004. Limit one prize per person/per household. 3. You can either enter online at www.bhg.com/nestlecontest or by mail. Legibly write or type your name, address and daytime phone number on your entry, choose the category in which you would like to compete, a sentence or two describing a memory associated with making the recipe, and submit your recipe, using any Nestlé® Toll House® product, either by clicking the button on the online entry form or mailing it to BH&G/Nestlé Contest, 1716 Locust Street, Des Moines, IA 50309, Attn: Pam Garbett. Entries must be original, not previously published nor have won any other award. 4. Recipe entries will initially be divided into three 1) "Treats that can't be Beat!"-best tasting recipe, 2) "Sweets that Steal the Show"-best looking dessert recipe and 3) "Mixing It Up with the Kids"-best kid-friendly recipe. The Better Homes and Gardens® Test Kitchen staff will screen and forward 20 entries in each category to the Sponsor. Sponsor will judge the entries on the basis of originality/creativity (25%), use of product (25%), on taste (25%) and visual appeal (25%). Decisions of judges are final and binding in all respects. 5. Prizes: Three Grand Prizes: Each of the Grand Prize winners will receive a five day, four night trip for up to 4 persons to Disney World in Florida*; includes hotel accommodations for 4 nights (1 room) at Disney's Contemporary Resort*, round trip coach airfare for up to 4 persons from major airport nearest winner's residence, ground transportation to/from airport/resort, park tickets to Disney World for four for 4 days including admission to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, MGM Studios and the Animal Kingdom, a cooking class for four at the Orlando Culinary Academy and $1,000 cash. All other expenses not listed are the responsibility of winner. Blackout periods and restrictions may apply. Trip must be taken by June 1, 2005. (ARV: up to $7,500 each). Thirty First Prizes (ten per category): Better Homes and Gardens® New Cook Book, Nestlé® All Time Favorite Cookie & Baking Cook Book, Nestlé® Best Loved Cookies Cook Book and Nestlé® Gift Basket (ARV: $100 per prize). Prizes are non-transferable. Grand Prize winners may choose cash value of prize ($7,500 for the Grand Prize) in lieu of trip. Cash will not be permitted in lieu of first prizes. 6. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's recipe, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph, and any statements regarding this contest or recipe for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of Promoter and Sponsor, without compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winners agree to assign all right, title and interest, including copyright rights, to winning recipes to Sponsor and agree to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility/Ownership. Winners will be notified via e-mail and/or a traceable form of mail delivery and will be required to complete, sign, and have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and (where legal) a Publicity Release within 10 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. If not timely returned or if prize notification or e-mail is returned as undeliverable by date specified in notification, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Travel guest (or if minor, parent or legal guardian) must complete and sign Liability Release and (where legal) a Publicity Release prior to the issuance of travel documents. By participating and winning a prize, winners release Sponsor, Promoter, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability with respect to the prize won and participation in the contest. Subject to all U. S. federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
