Q. What are some popular amenities and upgrades to consider for a master bathroom remodel?

A. Bathrooms are a place where a lot of new products and design ideas show up. There are many lines of plumbing fixtures with different features, from dual-flushing toilets to toilets that have a mechanical bidet function. There are lavatory faucets that turn on when you put your hands under them and air hand dryers like those you might find in a commercial bathroom. Almost any of the devices and products you see in commercial settings will soon make an appearance in the residential bathroom. Lighting is a big feature in bathrooms and attractive alternatives are always coming onboard. Low-voltage and LED lighting are now available for a number of uses. Electric towel warmers and electric radiant mats under a tile floor can make the bathroom a warmer place. Visit any contemporary bathroom shop to introduce yourself to lots of new ideas and products.
