Pick the Year's Top New Plant

We've teamed up with the American Nursery and Landscape Association to highlight some of the year's top new plants. Click through the choices and vote for your favorite!

'Elf' Stoke's Aster

A cheery dwarf version of a tough sun-loving North American native plant, Stokesia laevis 'Elf' is a garden charmer that offers 2-inch-wide violet-blue flowers from mid- to late summer. It's wonderfully heat-tolerant, making it a great choice in the South. And because of its small size ('Elf' only grows 8 inches tall and 12 inches wide), it's perfect for container gardens. Zones 5-10.

The voting period is over. Thank you to all who participated. Official winner(s) to be announced per official contest rules.
