Sherry and John from This Young House

The Petersiks took this opportunity to make the exterior of their house match the style inside. The elements include tan and cream stripes painted on the floor, a glider bench, a side table made from a large planter and saucer, and plush outdoor pillows. This escape isn't just for grownups, however. One area is designed for their dog, Burger, and includes all-weather pillows, a food and water station, and a hook for his leash. Suspended ferns and candleholders constructed from light covers offer the finishing touch.
