'Scarlet Meidiland', like other modern shrub roses, is notable for its vigor, low maintenance, and long bloom season. The vivid red flowers are borne in large clusters. The canes grow quickly into an arching form. This is among the most hardy of the Meidiland family of roses. It grows 3 feet tall, and is useful as a ground cover as well as for cut flowers.
