last year my passion vine had brown stripped worms on it and ate the leaves off my vine. what are they and what can I do to get rid of them?
Without actually seeing the worms we can't provide positive identification, but most defoliating worms can be controlled rather easily with B.t. (Bacillus thuringiensis). This is a natural stomach poison that affects worms and caterpillars, but doesn't harm other insects, animals, or people. The product is most effective on small, immature worms, so it's important to catch the problem early on.
