Red wine, in moderation, is good for my heart. Is white wine beneficial, too?

Some studies show that all alcoholic beverages are beneficial to heart health because they have the ability to raise “good” cholesterol—known as HDL—and lower “bad,” or LDL, cholesterol. However, two heart-health-promoting substances—resveratrol and quercetin—come from grape skins, and since red wine ferments grape skins for a longer time, it may be more beneficial than white wine, which ferments for a much shorter time.
