How long can I keep an uncooked turkey in the freezer?
How long does an uncooked turkey last in the freezer? I bought a turkey last year at Christmas, it was frozen and as been frozen all this time. Is it too old to cook? I'm thinking of throwing it out.

Turkey can be stored in the freezer (unopened and uninterrupted) for up to 2-3 years and still be safe to cook. However, for the best quality, we recommend using the frozen turkey within 7 months of storage.

Please specify if there is a difference between a "fresh" turkey, frozen one, and a frozen/pre-cooked (by grocer) bird. You also did bot specify at what temperature the freezer should be.
