Backyard privacy
we are looking for a fast growing tree to fill an open spot in our backyard. The evergreen tree that was there died and we had to remove it. What would you recommend that is fast growing, provides privacy, and is good for partial sun. The back yard gets very little afternoon sun but gets sun till 11AM or so. We are in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Hi, Without seeing the site in person it's difficult to pin point exactly what might work for you. I suggest you check out our Plant Encyclopedia on this website and do an Advanced Search, plugging in all your criteria and see what kind of plant list it gives you. Just keep in mind that the faster a tree grows, the weaker and shorter-lived it generally is.
