Can I plant a potted miscanthus?
can I plant my miscanthus in the soil of a garden after it has been in a pot all summer?

Thanks for writing. You sure can --- though you'll want to tease apart the root system so the roots grow outward instead of a crowded circle caused by being limited to the pot. Help give your plant a little extra winter protection by spreading a couple of inches of mulch over the soil around the roots.
