How do I propagate English ivy?
Can I take cuttings from my English Ivy and make new starts to share with someone else? If so, how do I get it to root?

Hi,

Thanks for writing. You can take cuttings, and in fact, they're very easy to root from English ivy. Learn more here!

Please don't share ivy. I work for a Conservation Corps and we have been pulling invasive ivy out of our parks and forests. It's nasty stuff! It completely covers the ground and is killing the trees that it climbs up.
