Hi,

Thanks for writing. Personally I wouldn't bother with the soap --- I'd just spray the aphids off your plants with a strong stream of water from the garden hose. You may need to do this every couple of days for a week or so since aphids reproduce so quickly, but that should take care of them without risking harming the other plants around them with soap.
