Japanese beetles
What is the best way to get rid of Japanese beetles? They are eating my roses and purple plum tree.

Thanks for writing. Japanese beetles can be tough to deal with. Try spraying them with neem oil or, when possible, picking them off by hand and dropping them in a bucket of soapy water.

You should be able to find neem oil from your local garden center or nursery; it's an organic insecticide that's made from the oil of a tropical tree.
