help..
what is the best fertilizer to use on crepe myrtles and how often, my plants arent growing or blooming as well as others in the area.

Hi,

 

Thanks for writing. You should be able to use any general-purpose garden fertilizer with no ill effect. If you want to be on the safe side, contact your county extension office about having your soil tested. A soil test will tell you what nutrients your soil is lacking --- and most make recommendations on what and how much to add.

Help...my house has a north/south sun exposure on a sits on a steep slope. What type of tree would grow wide, tall and very fast. Right now the slope is filled with out of control junipers. Thank you.
