Hi. We have mushrooms growing in our grass and I was wondering how can we get rid of them or prevent them from growing. thanks

When mushrooms appear in your lawn, they are feeding on decaying organic matter near the soil surface. It may be thatch or roots from a tree or shrub that was removed. There isn't much you can do except mow the mushrooms down. Soon enough their food source will be gone and they'll go away on their own.
