lawn and water
Hello, I live in New Mexico, near las Cruces. I would like to know how often I should water my lawn. The problem is that the lawn is getting like white patches. I think it is because my husband waters the lawn everyday because he says that it is getting that way because the lawn is dry. Please help me.

It's typically best to water lawn grasses only once or twice per week. Frequent watering can lead to disease problems. Less frequent watering  for longer periods of time encourages deep rooting and more resistance to environmental stresses.
