Pruning Artemesia
I planted one plant 2 years ago in my sunny front yard garden. This year I have more than a dozen tall Artemesia and they are growing taller even as I write! May I prune them without killing them - they do add contrast with their varigated leaves. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. Sara Millar

You can cut your Artemisia a couple of times during the season to keep it to a size that's more in scale with the rest of your garden. If you choose, cut it back by half in late May and mid-July.
