Tomato Plants
Hi. I was told that you can cut pieces off the plants you have put in water in 7 days it should root is that true ? I have some in water but to help it more i added a little miracle grow water to it. I noticed that the leaves are still in good shape but no roots yet its been 6 days.. Thank You Rob
Tomatoes do root fairly easily, however, there will be differences among varieties of tomato and woodiness of the stem cuttings as to how quickly they will root. Also, you may have better luck rooting them in potting soil kept moist than directly in water.
