Propagation of ficus benjamina
I am a small home gardener, I have taken some cuttings from the plant (ficus) to give away to my friends , I put them in a small pots and put them under a small aquarium Like in a greenhouse, and put them in the shade, I lift the aquarium about 30 minutes a day for fresh air, I have planted these cuttings about 4 weeks now, I checked to see if they have rooted and they feel strong when I pulled them,I never give them water because the compost was always wet.can you tell what to do now? thanks

It can take quite a while for ficus trees to root as cuttings. But it sounds as though you're on the right track. Continue to monitor the plants for moisture and root development. When they have new roots several inches long, pull them out of the compost and pot them up in containers to grow on or give away.
