locating plants for purchase
On a recent vacation tour, I learned that sweet annie is an insect repelling plant. Where can I purchase sweet annie? Where can I find info about this plant (i.e. - which area of the country is best, care, etc)?

Well sweet annie isn't really insect repelling in the garden. You can dry it and use it to help repel insects in storage closets, etc, but it won't repel insects in the garden. It's a very easy plant to grow from seed and is related to our wild Queen Anne's lace. It needs full sun. You can buy seeds from Nichols Garden Nursery at nicholsgardennursery.com.
