Yellow leaves on hibiscus
What causes yellow leaves on a hibiscus plant?

The most common cause is too much water. If it is in a container, make sure the pot has drainage holes, and pour excess water out of the saucer. If it's in the ground, pull the mulch away for a couple of weeks so that the soil's surface will dry out a little. Hibiscus will usually recover rapidly once they're allowed to dry out a little. (They'll drop the leaves that are already yellow, but they won't lose more and will begin to send out new leaves.)
