invasive buttercup
What is the best way to control that creeping buttercup weed? it kills other plants. I'm in Jefersonville, VT

Thanks for writing. If you have creeping buttercup mixed with your annuals or perennials, your best option, unfortunately, is to either dig out the buttercup by hand (it's a long, tough job but it can be done) or to dog out your desirable plants and then solarize or spray the area where the buttercup is growing. Wait until all traces of it are gone before replanting.
