Hello, I have some plants that will get those little bugs in the soil. I have heard that it is when you water them too much. So I let them dry out and they go away. Is that true? I usually water them once a week but they still keep getting bugs. Is that too often or maybe I am watering them too much when I do water them. What should I do?

Those little bugs that fly around your plants are fungus gnats. They do not damage your plants, but they are extremely annoying. You can get rid of them with any general purpose houseplant insecticide. I might also consider repotting your plants in fresh soil. Too much water can keep these critters going, but once they get started they are hard to stop no matter what you do. I'd start with the spray and then consider repotting.
