Trimming kangaroo paws plant.
I have a kangaroo paws plant outdoors in a container that has new orange round cylinder flowers. I want to know if I can now remove the flowers that are not orange and have a grayish color that were on the plant when I purchased it. I don't want to harm the plant. If I can trim them, how far down stem do I cut?

Cut the spent flowering spikes to the soil level. This practice will also encourage more blooming.
