Stopped blooming
My bleeding heart has stopped blooming
Submitted by BHGPhotoContest

Hi,

Thanks for writing. Old-fashioned bleeding hearts have a limited bloom season in spring; so if it's stopped blooming, it's perfectly natural. Your bleeding heart may start to go dormant (show yellowing foliage) in a month or two, especially if you have hot, dry conditions. Again, this is natural. It will be back again and bloom beautifully next spring.
