Morning Glory in Garden
How do I get rid of Morning Glory in my vegetable and flower gardens?

Morning glory (Ipomoea tricolor) has become invasive in the West. When it's in your garden, you can eradicate it by 1.) digging/pulling or 2.) poisoning with Glyphosate, the active ingredient in herbicides like Round-Up. Problem is, this herbicide is non-selective; you don't want to kill your plants, too. One careful method to use: take a tip of the vine and place it into a plastic baggie, then spray directly into the bag. Please protect yourself with gloves, safety glasses and long sleeves.
