yellow leaves on honeysuckle
I bought a home with 4 honeysuckle vines/bushes planted by pillars. I have given them a form to grow on, but already (this happens every year) they are getting yellow leaves. Each year I've cut them back to nothing and they keep coming back, but continue to get yellow leaves. Is there something I can do about this? Or do they just bloom in spring and then die back?

It sounds as though your honeysuckles must be affected by a foliar fungus. Most fungi that attack leaves are worst in the cooler, damper conditions of spring. You could try applying a protectant fungicide next spring as the new growth emerges to prevent the fungus from getting started. It may take several applications early in the growing season to keep the problem under control.
