vines on the walls of the house outside
The Lady of the house (my sister) has started putting thick strings on the walls to grow some Morning Glories for shading (and for insulation) but wants to find some netting for that.I said that the strings will eventually break from the weather wear & tear, plus the weight will make worse. What should she do instead of strings, especially since I suggested to grow some Blackberries or Grapes because we all have a sweet tooth & love sweet fruits & veggies?

Well with morning glories they won't keep growing and getting heavier if you get frosts where you live because these plants are generally annuals except in frost-free zones. String will rot eventually, no matter what you grow. Galvanized wire is much better and will last forever.
