vines hardy to zone 4
I am looking for a vining plant- pref flowering that is hardy to zone 4 and requires little water. it will be in a very hot area next to my house.

Thanks for writing. If you want a perennial vine, your best bet is probably trumpet vine (Campsis). It tolerates heat and drought well --- and blooms in summer with clusters of orange flowers that attract hummingbirds.



This vine grows very quickly and can get to be very large --- so you may need to prune it to keep it from growing out of bounds.
