Leaves curl up
"I just planted 15 xylosma compacta bushes. Some of them, their leaves are curling up and then dry out. Why?"

Compact xylosma is usually a tough plant with few problems. If the leaves are curling and drying soon after planting, it may be due to lack of water in the root ball. Until the roots grow out of the old container soil into surrounding soil, the plants will need to be watered like container gardens, that is, at least every other day at first, gradually increasing the time span between waterings as the roots expand into new soil. Make certain that the root ball gets soaked when you water.
