Cutting back bachelor buttons
I have bachelor buttons that probably reseed every year. After they are spent can/should I cut the stems back so they are not unsitely?

Thanks for writing. You can cut them back every year if you wish, though you may choose to leave one or two plants standing so they continue to reseed. If you cut them all back before the seeds ripen, you'll probably see fewer bachelor's buttons next year.
