Black Spots on Queen Palm Tree
Hi Please help!!! My Queen Palms are looking pretty crummy after the wet and windy winter. I see new growth so I know with patience they will be looking better in a while. My concern is that one of them has brown spots all over from the root ball on up. What do I do? Thank you

Queen palm has few common disease problems, but what you describe sounds as though your queen palms have been hit with some type of fungus, which likely infected the plant during the windy, wet conditions that you describe. If conditions have now turned drier, it's unlikely that new infection is occurring. You may want to consider a protective fungicide spray next wet season, but it wouldn't be beneficial during dry conditions.
