Wilted cucumber vines
plant was doing good and all of a sudden wilted and died. What could have caused that? I live in Florida so watering is not a problem since we get rain everyday.

It's likely your cucumbers suffered from Bacterial wilt which cause the plants to wilt and die quickly. This disease is bacterium that's spread from plant to plant by the striped cucumber beetle. Once infected there is no cure. Just remove and destroy all the infected plants. With new crops, spray the plants with an insecticide that is designed for beetles every 7 days through the summer. Some cucumber varieties are more resistant to wilt than others. Be sure to read the seed packs before you buy a particular variety. "
