Using old basketball court for patio
I have an old basketball court in my backyard that our children used growing up. Now I would like to convert it into a patio, but it seems like too much flat space with no trees or shrubs around it. It is about 24 feet square. I do have my grill there and a two person wooden swing, plus a wrought iron table and four chairs. I just don't know how to pull it all together. Also it is at the very back of my house, and I might need a walk way to reach it, especially if I plan to do any entertain

Hi

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking here. If it were me, I'd try to break up the concrete in some manner. Using a lot of flower-filled pots would help a lot and arranging your furniture in a conversation pit style would help. Also, consider looking for an outdoor rug to soften the environment and add color. They come in all types and last forever outdoors.
